  • Arrive in Leh, the beautiful high-altitude capital of Ladakh. Upon arrival, take time to acclimatize to the altitude and rest. Leh sits at an elevation of around 3,500 meters, so it's important to ease into the environment. In the evening, head to Leh Market where you can explore local crafts, including intricately woven carpets, traditional jewelry, and other unique souvenirs. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and the friendly locals, soaking in the first glimpses of Ladakhi culture before retreating to your accommodation for a peaceful night’s rest.

Day 2 Leh to Pangong Lake

  • After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Pangong Lake, one of Ladakh’s most iconic destinations. Known for its surreal beauty and ever-changing shades of blue, the lake sits at an altitude of 4,350 meters. Enjoy a peaceful walk along the shores, breathing in the crisp mountain air and soaking in the stunning landscape. The lake’s surroundings offer fantastic photo opportunities, with snow-capped peaks reflecting on the water’s surface. After a day of exploration, head back to Leh for a relaxing evening.

Day 3 Leh to Nubra Valley

  • Travel towards Nubra Valley, passing through the Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world. Enjoy the thrilling ride as you cross this spectacular pass at an altitude of 5,359 meters. Once in Nubra, visit the Hunder Sand Dunes where you can experience a traditional camel ride on the unique double-humped Bactrian camels. The dunes are surrounded by snow-capped mountains and offer incredible photo opportunities. After the camel ride, relax in the serene environment of Nubra Valley before settling into your accommodation for the night.

Day 4 Nubra Valley

  • Begin your day with a visit to the Diskit Monastery, the oldest and largest monastery in Nubra Valley. The monastery is famous for its massive Buddha statue, which overlooks the valley and offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Take time to explore the monastery, interact with the monks, and absorb the spiritual ambiance. The valley’s stunning landscapes make for an unforgettable backdrop, and you’ll have time to capture some memorable photos before heading back to your accommodation for a restful evening.

Day 5 Nubra Valley to Leh

  • Today, you’ll journey back to Leh, but not before visiting two of Ladakh’s most significant architectural sites along the way. Stop at Thiksey Monastery, a stunning Tibetan Buddhist monastery that resembles the Potala Palace in Lhasa, and enjoy the panoramic views it offers. Continue to Shey Palace, once the summer capital of Ladakh, where you’ll find a peaceful atmosphere and breathtaking views of the surrounding valley. After visiting these treasures, continue the drive back to Leh for a relaxing evening and dinner.

Day 6 Leh Sightseeing

  • In Leh, explore two of the region’s most famous monasteries: Leh Palace, an impressive structure offering views of the town and the surrounding mountains, and Hemis Monastery, one of the largest and richest monasteries in Ladakh, known for its grandeur and spiritual significance. After the sightseeing, enjoy a traditional Ladakhi meal in a local restaurant, featuring dishes like Thukpa (noodle soup) and Momo (dumplings). The evening is free for you to relax or explore the local area.
